Middle of the month and time to once again share our desktops with Clareπ
On the Photo PC this month I have a photo of a pair of Class 350 EMU’s at Harrow & Wealdstone, taken on March 27th…
…Strong late-morning sun makes for interesting patterns of light and shade. The train is on its way to Tring which is a poignant reminder that this station was the scene of the worst peacetime accident on Britain’s rail network back in 1952 – On that day a local service from Tring was hit from behind by an express service from Perth. A northbound express then ploughed into the wreckage of the first collision. There is a memorial plaque on the wall of the station by the entrance. You can read more about the accident on Wikipedia or on the National Archives blog.
On the Gaming PC we have a serene sunrise…
…This is a screenshot from the game Way of the Hunter and is taken at a campsite on the Transylvania map.
Hi Martin, as usual, I had to have a second look as the virtual world looks so real. Thank you so much for sharing these with me and joining in on the SYD fun π₯°
The screenshot of the hunting game is particularly effective. My first impression was to be quite envious that you’d been walking in such a beautiful environment. π
Way of the Hunter is a very good walking simulatorπ Actually, I’d recommend most of the simulation games I play for house-bound people. If you can’t get out and about anymore – you can still enjoy the views. There are several disabled players that I know driving in the Truck Simulator gamesππ
Wonderful desktops for this month π
Thanks Cee ππ
