Today was the first of Wingate & Finchley’s pre-season friendly matches. Moving into the new season will have an impact on my blog. This post is the 124th daily post in a row. I remember suddenly finding that I had completed a 5-day streak and being somewhat surprised -That was over 3 months ago! Then I was wondering if I could hold on to complete a month of posts. The days went by… The posts accumulated until, somehow, I’ve reached the point where I have posted continuously for a 3rd of a year! That’s quite an achievement when you consider that many of my posts have required a significant amount of writing and screenshot / photographic preparation.
Sadly, that is unlikely to continue now that I enter the new football season. I will have lots of days when I have to process significant numbers of match photos. Additionally, there will be the days when I spend long hours on away trips. I will try to continue posting regularly over the coming months, but it will not be every day. I’d like to thank all my visitors for their support and hope I will be posting some things to interest you going forwards.
