Red – Time for a Ferrari? I didn’t have one to hand. I thought about doing red peppers but Cee has that covered in her post! So here’s a mix of Football and Transport – but no London Bus 😉

Taken a couple of weeks back, here is much liked and respected ‘enemy for 90 minutes’ Mark Kirby…

…Mark has played for a number of local football clubs in North London, but never Wingate and Finchley. He’s currently with Chesham United but is carrying an injury, so had to sit out our recent friendly match. Outside of football, he’s a Teacher 🙂

Flashback in time to 1980 and a shot of a Warrington Corporation bus…

…Vehicle no. 95 is a Bristol RE. These were commonly bodied by Eastern Coachworks but Warrington had chosen to go local and have the body built by East Lancs in Blackburn.

I may not have a Ferrari, but here’s a Fiat (Ferrari’s parent company) and it’s in the red of Telecom Italia…

…Photographed in the Santa Sabina suburb of Rome.

As luck would have it, yesterday evening I was doing the annual team photos for Wingate & Finchley. We’re keeping the previous season’s home kit – it had not been used much and our sponsor, Roger’s Removals, was unchanged – see what I did there? a bonus red 😉 Anyway, we do have a new Away kit and it’s red…

…The Arsenal fans are gonna love it, the Tottenham fans will hate it because it looks like an Arsenal shirt. The photographer will probably dislike it because red often causes issues for camera sensors in bright sunlight 😉

Lets finish with some blue skies and water…

…and an emergency vehicle of the Sapeurs-Pompiers – this belongs to one of their underwater rescue teams (Plongeurs = Divers) and was photographed in Canet-en-Roussillon.
