Once again the last photo on my card is a football shot. On 28th January Wingate & Finchley played Brentford B in the Middlesex Senior Cup. Despite Wingate having the worst season that I can remember and Brentford being a higher division side, it was a well fought game and a match that any visiting neutral fan would have enjoyed. The B’s nicked a goal early in the second half and probably had more clear-cut chances on goal than Wingate but overall it was a better performance by The Blues than of late. My last shot shows one of the Brentford players walking off the pitch with Luke in a commiseratory chat after the final whistle…
