Weekly Photo Challenge: Sea

The Sea, or more correctly, the seaside was for me like many generations of Londoners a day out. The Essex coast was an ever popular destination from the east end of the capital. Even today places like Southend or Clacton provide healthy air alongside un-healthy snacks to be enjoyed on a day by the sea. In August, both Southend and Clacton host air displays – these shots were taken at Clacton in 2009

    1. LoL Christine – say it quickly and remember that Gulls have a habit of dropping on that nice new frock you bought 😉 As for the snacks… Better be quick or the Gulls will have them !

  1. Nice seaside photos. We were at the beach today with our 18 month old grandson & his Mum. It was a nice day but a bit windy. The last photo reminds me of a British show I saw recently where someone converted a disused lifeboat station into a home. I think.it was the show Grand Designs

      1. I expect my good lady will have watched that one – thanks for the link, I’ll take a look 🙂 I hope your Grandson enjoyed his trip to the beach 🙂
