It’s the EOS 40D Connie. one of my cameras but now my Wife’s to use as I now use the 7D. Alasdair has been taking photos off and on since he was 4 so happy to let him use it – he knows well enough to put the strap round his neck first before doing anything else 😉
Wonderful pictures; you and your camera had the good fortune to witness the fun and focus; laughter and learning all those moments that make up a good life. Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous shots of beautiful people! Love the emotions showing on Alasdair’s face. In the last photo he looks very interested in photography… and, he’s got the strap round his neck! 🙂
An opportunity to have fun, share and show our love ones the beautiful events and images in life. Love your version of this week’s theme. It shows your affection for your family and the joys they brings into your life.Wishing you and your family all the happy blessings in life.
Great shots for the Opportunity challenge! Beautiful faces, great expressions. I have to smile at the third picture of your son with the camera. Can’t help but think it is cool that he is interested in photography! Mr. T looks like he is about to let a smile break out.
Great pictures! You did a great job capturing the emotions!
Thank you Maggie 🙂
Very nice photo. I really like the last one. What a great opportunity for learning 🙂
Thanks NN, Thanks – yes, mixing photography with ancient Rome. I hope it was a good expereince for him 🙂
He is so cute, and boy! does he enjoy life!!!!!!
All three different, all three wonderful moments —
Thanks Judith – I like to think he’s a typical 9yo but people tell me he’s a bit older in his thinking. Probably my fault as an old git father 😉
Love them all! Opportunities abound . . . if we keep our ears, eyes, and heart open. 😀
Hi Nancy – Thanks. I think he has those attributes unless he can’t be bothered 😦 But when he’s on song! 🙂
That looks like a nice camera.

Wonderful collection! My favorite is the little boy with the camera. Nicely composed and he looks like he knows what he’s doing.
Thanks Doris – he does pretty well with a camera though I usually let him loose with an A620 compact 😉

Yes, Alasdair’s uncle is rarely serious for long! Thanks 🙂
I love your photos! Especially the first one! I like father-and-son pics coz I also have a little boy! That last one is nice too! Good job!
Thanks Nelson – I have got one or two of Alasdair with me but that top one is with one of his uncles 🙂 I hope your son enjoys taking photos too!

Hi Tony – that’s my son! Thanks for the kind compliment. It helps that he isn’t very camera shy 🙂
